Review the detailed findings for a page
Transcript
In this video, we'll open one web page's detailed findings and
learn how to see what
Connectivo found, what it fixed, and what still needs attention.

Start in the Sites menu and choose the website you want to review.
[mouse click]
For this walkthrough, I'll open one of the test sites and look at its completed scan.
[mouse click]
When the site opens, you will be on the Dashboard tab and then select Page Report.
[mouse click]
Locate the web page you want to investigate and click on that row.
[mouse click]
The screen that opens next covers only that web page, not the entire website.
Now we are in the detailed report for a single web page.
Anytime you want to return to the Site Dashboard, just click the Site ID at the top of the page.
[mouse click]
Now let's review how to read the page details.
The cards at the top summarize this page.
Original shows the failing occurrences found before fixes.
Remediated shows how many still fail afterward.
Needs Review is separate because those findings require a person to confirm the result.
In the Report Details table, each row is one occurrence of an accessibility issue.
Original confirms it failed the first audit, while Remediated tells you whether it is now
fixed or still failing.
Patch Type shows how the remediation was produced and Requirement and Level connect the
to WCAG.
[mouse click]
Click on any of the rows in the Report Details table to see details for that occurrence.
[mouse click]
[AD] The presenter gestures towards the issue details panel. A difference view in the remediation section shows red lines of removed text and green lines of added text.
When you click a row, this details panel opens for that single occurrence.
Start at the top.
The requirement names the accessibility rule, and the status tells you whether Connectivo
has fixed it.
In Issue Details, the short description explains what was found.
The HTML, CSS selector, and XPath simply identify the exact
element on the page.
You can leave those technical fields to a developer unless you are troubleshooting.
The links below help you learn about the rule or open the affected page.
In Remediation, the difference view shows the change Connectivo applied.
Red shows what was removed, and green shows what was added.
That is the main takeaway: what the issue was, whether it is fixed, and what changed.
Close the panel when you are ready to review a different accessibility issue.
[mouse click]
You now know how to move from a web page summary to the exact findings and understand what
happened after remediation.
Learn how to review the accessibility results for a single webpage, open an individual issue, and see the exact fix Connectivo made.
